Passover

This year we celebrated the Passover at Church on Thursday 17 April (Maundy Thursday). Keith Munro came to tell us about how the Passover is celebrated by Traditional Jews and Christian Jews. He explained the various elements of the Passover as to how they relate to the story of the Exodus when the Jews escaped from slavery and the the last plague when the angel of death passed over the homes of those that followed the commands of God. Keith also explained how the Passover was celebrated at the last supper of our Lord Jesus.

We enjoyed the Passover meal together, learning about the significance of the Passover and about our Lord Jesus
